Council for Social Development(CSD)is registered under Societies Registration Act 1860 which is fast growing NGO significantly working at Grass Root Level since 2003 in backward and under privileged areas of Province Punjab PAKISTAN aiming to provide Qualitative Support Services and Advocacy in the Sector of Education, Health, Literacy, Environment, Water & Sanitation, Human Rights etc. It was founded by an Energetic & Ambitious Group of Social Activists, Trained Social Workers, Human Rights Workers & Women Development Activist Well Wishers of the Society after Analyzing / Gauging the ever prevalent situations of Male Dominating Society, Feudal Lords Bureaucracy, Aging Social Traditions and Customs coupled with so-called Faith Beliefs and Religious Taboos, Poverty Hit Situation, Ignorance & Literacy Backwardness and sub standard way of life. CSD is mainly composed of Women Rights Activists supported by trained and professionally Qualified Experienced Male Social Workers.

7Durnig initiating its Organizational Tasks / Activities CSD created awareness and social advocacy amongst Local Communities focusing on core principle of Participatory Development while resolving all sort of Social Problems / issues within available Financial and Human Resources. CSD always set its priority to address ever existing issues like Violence against Women, Ignorance and Illiteracy, Health Hazardous / Sanitation Situations amongst others and newborn, Social Injustice, Inequality and Un-Equity, Gender Discrimination and Distortion of Peace Process etc.
